#MotivationalMondays:

Monday is probably one of the toughest days of the week, given that we work throughout the week and may only get two days off. If that! Then of course, the dreaded Monday comes along. "Ugghh. Back to reality. " We just had AWESOME time off and now it's Monday! Sometimes just to opening our eyes or even putting our feet on the ground to get out of the bed is tough. Shoot, rolling over is even rough!

3/23/15: One of the most powerful tools we have is our minds. With it, we can create, destroy, reframe and reshape the world around us. With it, we can harness energy and manipulate its direction. I always believed that I knew this, but it struck me again in the midst of two days, with only 7 total hours of sleep. As any other human would, I grew immensely tired. I was working on two projects, one of which had been waiting to be completed for quite some time, and I wanted to finish them badly. So, I decided to invest some time in order to get them done myself. As I sat and worked through the second project, I realized that an incredible amount of hours passed and I only had 4 hours before I would need to be in the office. My next day would start bright and early with an important phone call I needed to make. How the heck was I going to stay awake and survive?! In that same moment, I recognized that I had been devoting all my time, energy, and effort on completing two projects I created on my own, truly cared about, enjoyed, and wanted to share with others. This immediately brought me back to life! I thought to myself, "What's wrong with me?! I love this! I'm creating and finishing something that I've envisioned. I'm working to finish something I love! I can do this ALL DAY!! (Cue Kanye Music) I wouldn't have it any other way!" With something as quick and as simple as a thought, I had a jolt of energy. Keeping the end goal in mind and why it was important, gave me more than enough energy to get through the next few hours and even the following day! Our minds are capable of changing our worlds, the world of others, and so much more. I urge you to harness that energy. Tap into the greatness that one of the most powerful tools can offer, and has been bestowed upon you. You have been blessed with it.  WARNING: Please be sure to use it properly. It has been proven to be dangerous and have counter effects. However, when appropriately utilized, it can change yours for the better. #MotivationalMondays#Power #PowerOfTheMind #ThinkYourselfIntoIt#Success #SuccessisaLifestyle

In the times where we are scared, overwhelmed, unsure, doubtful, or fearful, we learn the most about ourselves. We learn how much we can or can not endure. Usually, if we push through to the end, we recognize that we can endure far more than we thought we ever could. We learn that we are stronger, smarter, and more capable than we ever thought we were. That is Success. Challenging ourselves to endure and/or finish what we once thought, or at some point thought, we could not. In the darkest of struggles, lay the strongest of might. One must push through the darkest of tunnels, to reach the brightest of lights. #MotivationalMondays ‬

Sometimes fear can be paralyzing. It can prevent us from trying or attempting something in order to avoid that plaguing feeling of incompetence, inadequacy, or defeat. However, not trying will never create the opportunity for a win, or for Success. Therefore, isn't it a loss, or a failure, to not have tried? #MotivationalMondays #Fear #FearIsNotReal

#MotivationalMondays is a weekly post designed to provide motivation and inspiration to jump-start your week.   I say think of it this way -- Once we've placed our feet on the ground we've already conquered the hardest part! We're up! One moment, movement, or task closer to the finish line! We ought to make the most of our Monday!

Our lives are a story! Everyday is a story. Every week, month, and year is a story. Each of them is a piece of YOUR story. Monday is the start of a new story, the first story of 7. It is the first piece of a 7 day journey. A 7 day story. Why not be excited to live through and experience new stories?! #MotivationalMondays

6/1/15: Which one would you use to build your foundation? #MotivationalMondays #Foundation #Motivation #Success #Inspiration

5/18/15: Congratulations to all recent and soon to be graduates!! Remember: Every exit is an entrance to new beginnings. As you end one chapter, another begins. Keep going!! #MotivationalMondays #Congrats #Graduation #Classof2015 #Success #SuccessisaLifestyle

5/4/15: Wise words from one of my favorite artists...#MotivationalMondays #Quotes #Motivation #Failure #Success #JAYZ #SuccessisaLifestyle

4/13/15: Life is a challenge. It doesn't get easier in anyway. The struggles just change. I was once told, "No struggle, no progress." Very true. However, even with progress, the struggle still remains. It may not look, seem, or feel like the ones you once had. Nonetheless, they are still struggles. Now my goal isn't to create a comparison of struggles. I do recognize that some struggles may be easier, or preferable, in comparison to others. My point is, that no matter how good or bad your circumstances, you will encounter struggles. They will just be different. Have faith that you can over come, put in the work to overcome, and surround yourself with people who will help you to overcome. That is the key to #Success. #MotivationalMondays #Life #Struggles #LifeStruggles

3/30/15: Just as times are getting rough, and it all seems to be coming to an end; know that a new beginning awaits. Our challenges make us stronger, smarter, and wiser. They build us up for the next phase of our lives. Today, you are far stronger than you were yesterday. By the end of it, you shall be even stronger. We all start as caterpillars. Life and our struggles transform us into butterflies. #MotivationalMondays

3/16/15: I grant you permission to FAIL. Fail, and fail often. I know, I myself struggle very much with the fear of failure. It's a sucky feeling. No one enjoys or wants to feel like they suck. When we think about how it feels and what it means to fail, the usual thoughts are: "They're going to think I'm stupid." "I'm not that good." I'm not good enough." "They're probably better than me." Or, "They're probably going to laugh at me." "They're probably going to make fun of me."

Now let me be honest, all of that may be true.!! Some of that may, or may not, happen. However, greatness doesn't come instantly. Nor does Success. It takes time, energy, effort, and dedication. Sometimes I forget that failure is part of the process. At the same time, you never truly fail until you give up, right?

It wasn't until someone gave me the permission to fail, and fail often, that I realized the importance of just doing something as a way of learning and mastering it. It wasn't until they expressed that it was ok for me to fail in order for me to learn, that l realized the importance and value of it. I know it should have come from within, but hearing them say it helped me to understand that until you have actually done something more than once, you can not begin to master it, or be Successful.

Therefore, I am granting YOU permission. Fail. Fail often, but continue forward. It isn't until then, that you can begin to be Successful. #MotivationalMonday #Fail #FailureToSuccess #FailToSucced #EpicFail #EpicSuccess #Success #SuccessisaLifestyle

If you're moving slow toward your goal, that's ok. Just keep moving. #SlowPorgress is much better than no progress. #MotivationalMondays

How it starts in your mind is how it will end. Regardless of what has happened before, or what may happen in the future, today is a new day and the start of a new week. Expect nothing but the best from yourself. #MotivationalMondays
